Three of a Kind

Lately, I've been in the mood to just look for stuff and enjoy living in the moment.  When I find the shots, I make them.  Today's post is from the Sweetwater facility in Tucson.  I wanted to see a little "green" in the desert.....so I took a hike.

I wonder what it would be like to be a turtle.  Getting to sun on a log all day long......swimming in a pool of questionable water.....hanging out with my buds.  It sounds like some of the community pools around town.
For me, photography is fun because I sometimes have to look for the shots.  No matter where you are, there are photo opportunities to be taken.  It's standing in the moment and thinking about how you'll do it that makes it the challenge.

  1. Enjoying the moment & opportunities to be taken - so true about much of life. Oh, and great turtle shots - the way the trio is together in series is funny, too!

  2. I once found a turtle in my mail box. I let it go in the woods near my house but spent a few minutes enjoying how cool it was. I'm not sure if it was a joke since I live near some of my students or if someone thought that because I rescue dogs, I must rescue turtles, too. But I don't think it needed rescuing until I found it in my mailbox!
