Nice photos - today and yesterday's, all. Have you ever noticed how cacti can sure look like they could be 'underwater' plants - something you'd see scuba diving? Your photos sure show this!
They do look like they could go underwater...that's a whole new way to look at these pics. That is a funny name...Mother-in-law's stool? That's great to know. My problem is that I have all these cacti, but I don't have their official names....and I'm slowly getting them. Thanks for the info:)
Cacti are such architectural plants. The variety of forms is astonishing.

Very nice! I love to see this in the natural landscape. We never see this around these parts unless it's part of a collection in an indoor greenhouse.
