Standing Tall

Black Throated Sparrow
On a cool and breezy walk near Gate's pass, here are some moments that caught my eye.
The Saguaro stand tall and dwarf us tiny humans

  1. beautiful bird! and lovely saguaros, too! thanks for sharing these!

  2. That Black Throated Sparrow looks a cool customer :-)

  3. I'm going to take a closer look at your websites when time allows me. Meanwhile, thanks for looking in on Birds2blog. The internet makes the world even smaller than it already is....I see 'TexWisGirl' often on websites on our side of the pond, one which comes to mind is 'Another Bird Blog'.

Best Wishes for 2012 from the UK.

  4. wonderful pics chris, and compared to landscape i am familiar with it's an thrilling alien environment. How come the bird doesn't get impaled on the spikes I wonder? cheers,cm

  5. How can that little bird sit on such a stingy Sanguaro i wonder.
    Beautiful bird!
