ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and narrative Chris!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see them.
ReplyDeleteNiech ptaszki będą raczej ostrożne, on tak cicho chodzi. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteLet the birds will be more cautious, he was so quiet about. Yours.
What a gorgeous Bobcat!!! They are such beautiful animals; how awesome to get such great photos!!
ReplyDeleteWe have bobcats around the area. People have also documented a few mountain lions but they're rare. Everyone gets worked up at the idea of a mountain lion roaming around. I think a few more would keep the deer in check. Everything needs a balance. Your photos are great.
ReplyDeletegreat find with the bobcat
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking us for a Small trip across wild. I liked your advice about treading carefully.
ReplyDeleteHi Chris. yes good advise to tread carefully and quietly. only by doing this will we see everything that is around us and you managed to capture a great deal on camera, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful post Chris and some great photos of the Bobcat. I find it so interesting to see species in your area that don't occur over here.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of treading lightly and the fact that wildlife is always around us. I often wonder when I'm in woodland what creature is watching me hidden from sight :)
Wow. I'd love to see a Bobcat Chris. Not much chance in the UK. It's good advice too as too many people don't realise that birds and animals generally have far superior sight and hearing than humans.
ReplyDeleteJust wonderful Chris!
ReplyDeleteVery good advice Chris! Quietly does it!The Bobcat sighting is awesome, great photos!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the writing you've created. Words so elegant and composed beautifully. I seriously felt one with nature as I read, and viewed the great photos.

ReplyDelete(the whistlers normally go south for a few months in winter but this year, 145 of them have camped out at our place, getting fed hen scratch twice a day! i'm not sure i'm going to manage next year!)
What a marvelous cat. It's the only wild species I have ever encountered.
ReplyDeleteChris, awesome sighting and photos of the Bobcat.

This is so beautiful. We have been lucky to see a bobcat twice in our travels, but not where I could get a picture. He and all your other creatures are small miracles, as are your lovely words. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful series, loved the narrative.
ReplyDeleteAll great points and photos - but the bobcat, something I never captured in all the times one went through my olf property! You did very well in that one.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm being unfaithful to my birding credentials by saying that cat (lynx? bobcat?? excuse my Aussie ignorance) is amazing!!
