Hanging On

Carales arizonensis caterpillar
This post is dedicated to some dear friends who are going through a rough time right now.
Tiger Moth Caterpillar
Life is a challenge.  There's no way around it.  And those who try to find away around it usually end up paying a bigger price.  There are consequences for every action we take.
I wish things were different.  Life is too short to be angry....or stay angry.  I wish I could magically change everything and make it better but not so many years ago, I realized I really can't change the world. It just is.
Live life. Love life. Move forward. Treat each other with respect.  And most of all be careful with the hearts that you both created because they are the most precious.
And that's my advice. I also hope you enjoyed the caterpillars:)

  5. Hi Chris, Love this post... You are truly saying all of the right things. Life is too short to allow 'crap' to be in charge... I choose LIFE --and want to spend every minute enjoying it, and not belly-aching about what needs to be changed...

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  6. That's an important message, the caterpillar moves along inch by inch, eating its weight in leaves, moving toward its transformation where it is reborn, free to fly where the wind will take it. Life is short, be free, enjoy it!

  7. Wonderful advice Chris. Even when making the presumably right choices, sometimes life gets in the way. I believe if we hold on to our dreams, they Will eventually come true.

    Nice caterpillars.

  8. Love the Caterpillars. That top one I thought at first was a fly caught in a spiders web trying to get away. It almost looks like it's moving.

  13. Wow Kreesh, that's a different kind of post today, wisdomfull and deep thoughts! But i really like that first hirsute larva, i am wondering if it is sinking or the water! And how serendipitous, i have been taking shots of hairy things this week as well.
