Amar Es Compartir

I always have my camera ready near the birdfeeders because you never know what will go down on a day to day basis:)  Today I was finally able to capture the Verdin and Anna's Hummer together on the feeder!!!  Last time I tried to do this, there wasn't any memory card!  PS.  I'm still catching up with everyone, and I promise I'll be stopping by soon.  Love all your stories and pics but I have to give the eyes a rest each night and time to absorb all your experiences.
The Verdin flies in first.  And then several of our hummers see this guy and say, "Oooh heck no!"  But wait, "He's not a hummer.  I can't chase him off!"
And so "Sharing is loving."  or "Loving is sharing."  Either way, they were so cute on the feeder together.
And of course, lots more to come.  Until next time.....

  13. What's the chance of them both being at the feeder at the same time - great shot! Somehow I don't think the cat's definition of sharing will be the same as the Verdin and hummer's :)

  14. Diane's right...I need to check my blood sugar! :) I have both come to my feeders too, but I've never been lucky enough to get a shot with both of them in it. Great job!

  16. I remember the memory card but forget to charge the batteries.
Love the scene at your feeder. I have ocassionally seen some of the small birds at the hummingbird feeder, looking confused.

  17. It's close up to see the Verdin, the first of many I suggest. Great photos, and there is a cat, snarl, it's a killer of finer the birds.

    1. Hi there!!! No it has been crazy. I think I've caught up.....BUT I have some new people to meet tonight. Thanks again for your vinegar suggestion....what a difference it has made for me. What an improvement. Enjoy your blogger break....it's okay....don't feel guilty. I'm getting to that point as well....the problem is that the photography and hiking bits are fun and I do love sharing those shots.....and I do like the blogging.....but it's also good to take a break. That grey kitty is the one known as Aurora:) She's my girl. We have 5 and I love them all but Aurora is my girl:) Hope you are well.

  22. Hi Chris, welcome back, I must admit I've been a bit distracted myself, but it's always a pleasure to get back into the swing and catch up with everyone. Loved your images of El Sr. Papagayo in previous post and so happy for you that he's decided to honour you with his presence once more. I would love at some time to hear the sound of a mockingbird so if you ever feel like taking a video feel free haha! So lucky to catch these two little beauties above together, what timing and I laughed when I saw the look in pussy cats eyes..lunch!!

  24. Funny! I remember what a delight it was to have verdins come to my feeders when I lived here before. I just set out my hummingbird feeders yesterday. We will see if any verdins show up! The hummers are already making themselves known!
