Fire

Sometimes while I'm with others, my mind wanders to other places. I escape to another space and explore the mystery behind the motion. Here is what I saw......
......a spark.........a twirl.....an image.......
.....as the fire swirl created a person in the center......and only briefly.....the spirit of the ancient one dancing......
......dancing and twirling.....never ceasing to stop........marking the dark skies.......
.....enlightening others to their presence.....making it known......that fire connects us to the very basic and elemental need of humankind........
A blaze. A swirl.  A loop. Vibrations and waves of flames.  Looping over and under and all around.......

......to my delight and awe.  This is what I see.

    1. I had to mess around with the ISO and exposure:) And then with the long exposure keep the camera fixed on one spot. I am finding that I really enjoy abstract art. This is my 2nd attempt at abstract and it's fun:)

  10. Excellent set Chris, I'm fond of some abstract work too but not tried it myself, I'd be really happy with results like those.

  11. I'm not quite sure what it is I am looking at but #7 of 7 seems the most artistically cohesive and frame-able. #2 is my favorite, lots of texture and subtel movement. Interesting!!

    1. Thank you for your feedback. I also like #7 as it is my favorite from the series. But number 2 has something about it that I also enjoy....I'm not sure what...number 3 would be perfect except for that business to the right. I have one other fire series coming up later this week but with movement and "clearer" images. It's great getting other photographers takes on the shots and I appreciate your thoughts. Gracias:)
